Celebrate Lag B’Omer at the beach with tradition, fun, and community!
Occurring on the 33rd day of the Omer – the 49 day season between Passover and Shavuot – Lag B’Omer is a reminder to make space and time for worldly joy in the midst of this contemplative season. Observed in Israel through community gatherings, bonfires, and outdoor games, these celebrations honor Rabbis Akiva and Simeon Bar Yocchai’s post-Second Temple efforts to bring about their vision for a better world, one in which each of us (and all of the Jewish people) can exercise the power to self determine our own fate.
Join us on Saturday, May 17th for a festive day of sunshine, beach games, and a delicious Lag B’Omer-style BBQ featuring a build-your-own baked potato bar. Space is limited, so please RSVP now to reserve your spot.
